Oak Forest Fire: Warming Bus Needed For Firefighters
Temperatures were below freezing when the fire broke out at an auto shop Saturday morning.
OAK FOREST, IL — Firefighters braved frigid temperatures Saturday morning to battle a multi-alarm fire at an Oak Forest auto repair shop. Temperatures were around 8 degrees and a warming bus was needed for firefighters as they extinguished the flames near 165th Street and South Pulaski Road, according to Northern Illinois FireGround Photos.
The fire started just before 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the auto shop at 16500 S. Pulaski Road, according to the alarm alert.
