Wind Advisory Issued for Northern Illinois

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for most of northern Illinois, including and the rest of Cook County. The advisory was issued at 3:51 p.m. and will remain in effect until 6 p.m. tonight. 

Strong winds are expected with gusts possibly reaching 45 mph. Minor property damage is also possible. The alert says driving conditions may be difficult, especially for larger vehicles.
