Original story: An 82-year-old grandma from Burbank left her home at 8 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, and hasn’t been seen since. Betty Radochonski suffers from dementia, according to her family, which has made appeals on Facebook and through the Northern Illinois Fireground website.

She drives a white 2006 Mercury, license plate BJR61.

Her granddaughter, Kacie Radochonski of Palos Park, said police told her Facebook may be the family’s best bet to spread the word quickly around the region. Please share this news and help get grandma home safe.

“It is believed she is driving around and lost,“ Division Chief Mike Dudlo of the Burbank police told The Burbank Beat. “She frequents the area of 87th and Ridgeland to shop at Jewel. Officers have been searching the area and surrounding jurisdictions with no leads on her whereabouts. Any help from the public is appreciated.”
