Armed Smash-And-Grab Car Theft Crew Steals Camaro From Driveway In Burbank
The crew, armed with guns and rifles, smashed into another vehicle parked on the driveway using another stolen car, Burbank police said.
BURBANK, IL — A car theft crew armed with handguns and rifles stole a Camaro from a driveway last Thursday in Burbank, police said.
Around 3:50 a.m., Burbank police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at a residence in the 7900 block of South Normandy Avenue. Officers learned that multiple people armed with guns were involved in stealing a Chevrolet Camaro from the driveway.
Police said the crew crashed into an unoccupied car parked on the driveway using another previously stolen vehicle, clearing the way to drive the Camaro to drive the Camaro from off the property.

Two previously stolen vehicles were also recovered at the scene, both of which had been taken from Burbank residences, police said. It is not known if the owner of the Camaro was present during the theft. Patch as reached out for comments.
