Black Friday Deals, Festive Events Planned At Chicago Ridge Mall

CHICAGO RIDGE, IL — Thousands of shoppers are expected to converge on Chicago Ridge Mall when the holiday shopping season officially begins on Black Friday, Nov. 29. The mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Pre-Black Friday deals have started at several retailers including VSPink, Oxford Jewelers, AMC theatres and more

See what the shops, stores and kiosks have to offer for Christmas 2024. Chicago Ridge Mall has planned a whole lineup of festive events for the whole family to enjoy including holiday performances by local schools, shopper appreciation events and visits with Santa.

Black Friday Warm-up and Win

• When: Friday, Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. to noon (while supplies last)
• Where: Center Court in front of H&M and Box Lunch
• What: CRM will have a Shopper Appreciation Day on Black Friday to honor our customers. Situated in front of Box Lunch and H&M on Center Court!

Salvation Army Angel Tree

• When: Going on now through Dec. 11
• Where: In center court in front of H&M and Pandora
• What: Every child should be able to enjoy the excitement of Christmas morning. Every year, hundreds of thousands of children nationwide get Christmas presents thanks to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Following their registration and acceptance as an Angel, a kid or senior adult's Christmas wish list is distributed to local donors who then buy them new toys and clothes. The family receives the gifts, which they can display beneath their own Christmas tree.

Holiday Posada at Chicago Ridge Mall

• When: Saturday, Dec. 14 at noon to 4 p.m.
• Where: In front of Dick’s Sporting Goods
• What: Join us for the first Holiday Posada at Chicago Ridge Mall. Many fun Christmas family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy are planned.

• What: Take advantage of a unique opportunity to see Santa's Chicago Ridge Mall's Workshop. Visitors who have autism, developmental disabilities, or sensory processing issues are welcome to have a special encounter with Santa in a more relaxed setting.
  • Packages of keepsake photos can be purchased and paid for at the time of event check-in:
    • Sunday, Dec. 8 at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    • Sunday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Christmas Harmonies at Chicago Ridge Mall

• When: Sundays, Dec. 8 to Dec. 15
• Where: In front of Dick’s Sporting Goods
• What: Help our local Middle School and High School spread the cheer this holiday season to Chicago Ridge Mall shoppers!
  • Scheduled Performances:
    • Dec 8: Richards High School Band at noon to 1 p.m.
    • Dec 15: Elden Finley JR. High at noon to 1 p.m.

Pet Pictures with Santa

• When: Every Monday from Nov. 18 to Dec. 16
• Where: In the Santa Set in front of Kohl's Court
• What: Bring your pet in so Santa can take a picture with them. Pets must go once the pictures are finished. Pets must be in crates or on leashes. No exotic pets are allowed.
