D218, Partner Districts Plan Educators Career Fair Saturday

Learn about teaching openings and more at CHSD 218 and partner districts Saturday, Feb. 22, at the CHSD Administrative Center in Oak Lawn.

OAK LAWN, IL — If you're an educator looking to make a change or about to graduate from college, Community High School District 218 and its partner districts will host an Educators Career Fair this Saturday, Feb. 22. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to noon at CHSD 218 Administrative Center, 10701 S. Kilpatrick Ave., Oak Lawn.

Stop by and chat with district representatives and learn more about open teaching, social worker, school psychologist, paraprofessional, school nurse, speech pathologist and more.

Joining CHSD 218 are its partner districts, including Atwood Heights Dist. 125, Worth School Dist.127, Chicago Ridge Dist.127.5, Cook County Dist. 130, Midlothian Dist. 143, Posen-Robbins Dist. 143.5, and the Eisenhower Cooperative.

CHSD 218 comprises three high schools: Shepard (Palos Heights), Richards (Oak Lawn) and Eisenhower (Blue Island). The district also has two smaller schoolsm including Delta and Summit Learning Center in Crestwood and the Adult Transition Program in Oak Lawn.

“Our schools provide programming that meet the needs and interests of all of our students,” CHSD 218 Superintendent Dr. Josh Barron said in a news release. “We have a robust career tech education program, dual credit program, advanced placement, and college prep. There is something here for every student.”
