Hickory Hills Couple Welcomes First 2025 Baby Born At Advocate Christ

OAK LAWN, IL — Mahmoud and Shuroug Abdedeen had a special delivery early Wednesday morning on New Year’s Day.
Baby Julia Abdedeen made her debut at 1:20 a.m. Jan. 1 at Advocate Christ Medical Center. The little girl is the first baby to be born at the Oak Lawn medical center in 2025.
The parents reside in Hickory Hills. Julia is among the first babies to be born in the new year at Chicago-area Advocate hospitals.

Julia clocked in weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches long.
