Senior Bus Driver
The village of Oak Lawn is looking to hire a part-time senior bus driver who would work less than 20 hours per week. Experience as a bus driver or similar driving experience is a plus. You must also have a good driving record and be in possession of a commercial driving license. Pay is $11 per hour with no benefits. They are looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to oversee and administer the Library's volunteer program. The Volunteer Coordinator develops and implements methods to sustain volunteer participation, maintains volunteer records, and performs related work as required. On Tuesday, July 30 the 2013 Roadwork Ahead: Construction Careers Expo will link people interested in construction careers with trade unions, training partners and community organizations and provide information on skills needed to work for unions and companies participating in upcoming Illinois Tollway projects. The Expo will begin with a presentation from the Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) on skills needed to qualify for membership in various construction unions. Following the presentation, skilled and construction trade unions, including Operating Engineers Local 150, Chicagoland Laborers Joint Training and Apprenticeship and Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters, will be available to answer questions about requirements to enter the union.
