Oak Lawn Senior Molly Cameron Selected As All-State Cheerleader

Cameron has been selected as an IHSCCO All-State Competitive Cheer Athlete and will be recognized Feb. 7 at the IHSA state finals.

OAK LAWN, IL — Oak Lawn Community High School varsity cheerleader Molly Cameron has been selected as a IHSCCO All-State Competitive Cheer Athlete for 2024-2025. Cameron was also selected in last year. The honor recognizes her exceptional skills, dedication, and hard work in the sport of competitive cheerleading.

Cameron will be recognized at the IHSA Competitive Cheerleading State Finals on Friday, Feb. 7, at Grossinger Motors Arena in Bloomington.

“Molly has put in countless hours of devotion to the OLCHS Varsity Cheer team,” OLCHS Cheer Coach Maria Vanderwarren said. “She joined our Varsity squad her freshman year, and we will miss her immensely upon her graduation this year. Molly has grown through the years and has made a commitment to achieving greatness. I am incredibly proud of her accomplishments and the impact she has made on the Oak Lawn Cheer team.”
