The Rise of the Knights: CCHS Spring Sports Heating Up

Every team, every player — CCHS is rising with purpose, passion, and powerful performances across the board.

As the days grow longer and the fields come alive, so do the student-athletes of CCHS. The Knights are charging into spring with passion, progress, and plenty to celebrate across every team. From the baseball diamond to the track lanes, our athletes are putting in the work — and it’s showing.

⚾ Varsity Boys Baseball: Bringing the Heat — and the Sunshine
The Varsity Baseball team is off to a strong start this season, boasting an impressive 8-5 record. Over spring break, the team traveled to Vero Beach, Florida to train and compete at the historic Jackie Robinson Training Facility, where they faced off against top teams from across the country. The trip was more than just sunshine and palm trees — it was a chance for the Knights to grow as a team, sharpen their skills, and represent CCHS on a national stage. With momentum from their Florida run and strong leadership on the field, this group is swinging into the rest of the season with confidence and focus.

⚾ JV Boys Baseball is Rolling
With a solid 6-3 record, the JV baseball team is off to a hot start. Big hits, sharp defense, and heads-up base running have powered the Knights to early success. Their chemistry is growing every game, and there’s no doubt they’re a team to watch this spring.

🥎 Softball: Progress with Every Inning
Though the softball team currently stands at 1-7, that record doesn’t reflect the heart and hustle this squad brings to the field. With each game, the team is sharpening their skills, coming together as a unit, and setting the foundation for a strong finish to the season.

⚽ Girls Soccer: Future Looks Bright
The Varsity Girls Soccer team is growing stronger each week, now standing at 3-10. What makes this group exciting is the number of JV players stepping up to contribute at the varsity level — playing double duty and gaining valuable experience along the way. The JV Girls Soccer team holds a balanced 3-3 record and is showing incredible promise. Across both levels, the Knights are building a deep and determined program with a ton of upside.

🏐 Volleyball Knights Bringing the Energy
The Boys Volleyball program is buzzing with action and success:

Varsity is battling with intensity and sits at a competitive 6-7, building momentum as they head into key matchups.

JV is turning heads with a fantastic 7-2 record — a clear sign of smart play, strong serving, and great team dynamics.

Freshman Boys Volleyball has shown promise early on, with a 1-1 record and plenty of potential to grow as the season continues.

Across all levels, the energy in the gym is electric, and these Knights are just getting started.

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Track Teams Gaining Speed and Confidence
Both the Girls and Boys Track teams are off to a strong start this season, putting in solid performances and working hard in every event. With a great blend of returning talent and rising stars, the teams are gaining momentum leading into one of the biggest meets of the year: the Christian School Invitational at Unity Christian in Hudsonville this Saturday, April 18. It’s a highlight of the season — and a chance for the Knights to shine on a big stage.

Rising Together: A Season of Growth and Grit
Every CCHS team is showing what it means to be a Knight: resilient, determined, and full of pride. Whether they’re winning games or gaining experience, our athletes are rising up — and representing CCHS with heart.

The spring season is just getting warmed up... and the best is yet to come.

Let’s go, Knights!
