Snow Parking Rules Set To Go In Effect For Oak Lawn
With a winter storm watch in effect, Oak Lawn residents are reminded of the village's snow parking rules.
OAK LAWN, IL — The Chicago area is about to get walloped by the first significant snowfall of the year, which means it’s likely that Oak Lawn’s snow parking rules will go into effect along designated snow routes. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from 9 a.m. Wednesday to 3 a.m. Thursday, with a possible 6 inches or more of snow.

The good news is that the village has suspended the odd/even parking ordinance because it was too chaotic. However, the village is asking all residents to utilize off-street parking to the greatest extent possible, until snow removal has been completed.
