4th of July Fireworks, Parade in Oak Park

Oak Park, IL — The 11th Annual Oak Park July 4th Parade will be marching through the village before you know it, so start brushing off your folding chairs and grab those picnic blankets from the closet.

The parade will begin at 10 a.m. July 4 at Ridgeland Avenue and Adams Street, marching north on Ridgeland to Augusta Boulevard before ending at Whittier School, according to the village.

Fireworks, organized by local nonprofit Great American Light Show Association, usually begins at dusk in the football stadium of Oak Park and River Forest High School, near East Avenue and Lake Street.
