• Demolition planned on Elizabeth Court (oakpark.com) — A 1950s ranch house at 12 Elizabeth Court in Oak Park is slated for demolition, with a new two-story single-family home proposed for the historic district block. Village preservation commissioners have offered advisory feedback on the design, urging it to better match the mixed streetscape, while the village confirms no demolition permit has yet been filed and the existing home remains standing.
