Austin Gardens Environmental Education Center to Host Grand Opening

Oak Park, IL - Join the Park District of Oak Park for the grand opening of the new Austin Gardens Environmental Education Center on June 11.

The festivities begin with a yoga class at 9 a.m.

At 10 a.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony will be followed by live entertainment, recyclable crafts, a scavenger hunt and of course a tour of the Platinum LEED-designed Environmental Education facility.

Expert staff will also be on hand to answer lawn and tree care questions.
