Bank Robbed at Gunpoint in River Forest

Three people with a handgun robbed the TCF bank June 20.

River Forest, IL — A TCF Bank in River Forest was robbed at gunpoint at 3:38 p.m. June 20.

Three people entered the bank, located at 800 N. Harlem, and showed a black handgun during the robbery, according to the FBI.

One person is described as a man with a slender build, 5 feet 10 inches tall in his early to mid-20s. He was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, a red mask, white gloves and black pants.

Another person is a man with a large build, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall in his early 20s, the FBI reports. He was wearing a black mask, a blue shirt and white gloves.

A reward is offered for information that might help catch these bank robbers. Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 312-421-6700.
