1. Two residential burglaries were reported in Oak Park over the last two weeks, according to police. Offenders entered through the back door of a home in the 6600 block of North Avenue on April 27, taking laptops, shoes and perfume. A week later, burglars gained access to a home in the 800 block of South Cuyler Avenue through an unlocked window and stole more than $2,000 worth of jewelry and personal items.
