Cicero P.E. Teacher Claims 'Biggest Loser' Title by Shedding 160 Pounds

The Burbank man and twin his brother both ended the show with big cash prizes.

Burbank resident Roberto Hernandez was named “The Biggest Loser” Monday night during the season 17 live finale of the NBC show.

Hernandez, a 36-year-old teacher from Burbank, won $250,000 for losing 160 pounds, working his weight down from 348 to 188 pounds over the course of the show, according to NBC.

In a Tuesday morning interview on “Live with Kelly and Michael,” Hernandez said the competition wasn’t about the money, and he doesn’t yet know what he’s going to do with the big prize.
