1. Eighty people in Oak Park tested positive for COVID-19 this week, an increase of more than 60 percent from last week. It is the highest case count since Sept. 2, according to the village health department. Chicago health officials say updated boosters are the key to curbing a winter surge of the virus. The next vaccine clinic is Tuesday at Cheney Mansion. (VOP)

2. A Maywood man was arrested this week in connection with a Woodlawn stabbing. Lamont Walker faces attempted murder charges for stabbing a woman in September. (FOX)
