2. A public hearing is set for Dec. 15 on the subject of OPRF High School’s proposed tax levy increase. Virtual and in-person options will be available for the meeting next week. “The proposed 2022 levy is not expected to be greater than a 5% increase over the 2021 tax extension,” according to Chief Financial Officer Cyndi Sidor. 3. Demand is rising for pediatric pain reducers as cases of COVID-19, RSV and flu increase for kids across Illinois, WBEZ reports. A spokesperson for Children’s Tylenol manufacturer Johnson & Johnson said “there are no supply chain issues and we do not have an overall shortage in the U.S.” despite the spike in demand for medicines to reduce fever.
