District 97 Seeks Feedback on Vision Plan
The deadline for providing feedback is Monday, June 20 at 5 p.m.

Submitted by District 97.
Oak Park, IL — Over the course of the year, District 97 has sought to better understand the perspectives, needs and concerns of key stakeholders as part of efforts to develop a shared vision for schools and the children they serve.
This included holding a series of community conversations in April during which students, faculty, staff, parents/guardians and community members had the chance to play an active role in the district’s vision planning process.

The Superintendent’s Advisory Panel — a 33-member group representing a cross section of the district’s stakeholders — used the information collected during those conversations to develop a comprehensive planning document. This document will ultimately be sent to the Board of Education to help them set goals, as well as to the administration to help them create action plans.
The district has posted the planning document online so people have the opportunity to review it and offer their feedback. Please click here to access the document and here to access the Google Form you can use to share your comments, questions, thoughts or ideas.
