1. Fenwick High School teacher John Quinn “has been placed on administrative leave pending a third-party investigation” into misconduct allegations, CBS reports. In a YouTube video posted this week, Fenwick graduate Helen Quinn Pasin accused him of inappropriately touching her when she was a student. (CBS)
2. A man drove through the gate at Forest Home Cemetery on March 15 before crashing his car into a tree. It will cost $2,000 to repair, according to cemetery staff. (Forest Park Review)
3. Dominican University students circulated a petition in support of campus food service workers, according to the school newspaper. Dominican President Glena Temple said Quest Food Management Services is negotiating with workers to address their needs. (Dominican Star)
4. Mars is working with a community organization to help determine the future of its longtime candy factory on Oak Park Avenue, the Wednesday Journal reports. The group Galewood Neighbors is conducting a survey for citizens to weigh in on future uses for the site after the candy company leaves in 2024. (Wednesday Journal)
