A man was fatally shot Monday morning along a <a href="http://cps.edu/Pages/safepassage.aspx" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Safe Passage school route</a> in Chicago’s Austin neighborhood, near the CTA Central Green Line stop.The 21-year-old man was taken to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds in his chest, according to the <a href="http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-shooting-violence-20160104-story.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Chicago Tribune</a>, and he was pronounced dead.
