• Marjorie Helen (Seyfert) Givens, age 87, formerly of Norris City (wfiwradio.com) — Oak Park is briefly highlighted as the place where Marjorie Givens earned her Bachelor of Nursing from West Suburban Hospital in 1958, before building a life centered in Norris City. The longtime church volunteer, musician, and mother of five died in October at age 87. Family and friends will celebrate her life at a January 4 service in Norris City.
