Fire-Damaged Apartments Being Torn Down in Oak Park

Three-story building must be demolished after fire.

The 3-story apartment in the 200 block of Washington Boulevard has been determined that it must be demolished after a fire raged through it earlier this week, according to CBS Chicago reports.

The extra-alarm file caused the building to destroyed beyond repair, according to Oak Park Chief Building Official Steven Cutaia.

The severity of the damage also prevented officals to determine the cause of the fire.
