Food Delivery Drivers Robbed at Gunpoint in Austin: Police
One driver was robbed while the other got away in two separate incidents.

Two delivery drivers working in the Austin neighborhood were robbed at gunpoint on West Ohio.
One incident took place at 11:30 p.m. Sept. 19 in the 5300 block of West Ohio. The other took place at 10 p.m. Sept. 22 in the 5500 block of West Ohio, according to Chicago police.
A handgun was shown to each driver by the robbers, and one driver was robbed while the other got away.

In one incident, the suspects are described as two men, about 25 to 30 years old, one about 5 feet 7 inches tall. In the other incident, the suspect was a woman, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 200 pounds, Chicago police reported.
Area residents are asked to spread the word about these crimes to other drivers. Businesses should keep the phone number of the customer placing delivery orders. If you see anything suspicious, call 911 immediately and provide a description of people, cars and license plates.
