1. Crowdfunding campaigns are raising money to support the owners of Delia’s Kitchen, the Lake Street restaurant which was destroyed by a fire this week after 12 years in business. A GoFundMe page and the Red Cross are assisting the tenants of the four apartments in the building, which were deemed uninhabitable. (Wednesday Journal)

2. The River Forest Village Board approved the library’s plan to convert its mechanical room to a meeting space. Construction could begin as early as spring and is expected to take 10 weeks. (Wednesday Journal)

3. Metra is taking steps to eliminate cash sales on commuter trains. The rail service purchased 225 ticket automated ticket machines to be installed in mid-2022. (Paid source: Tribune)

4. Fenwick will compete in an IHSA state championship game at Northern Illinois University today. The game will be streamed live at 10 a.m. on www.IHSA.tv. (Fenwick)
