2. Resident registration opens today for Oak Park holiday events this December. Locals can register on the park district website at 8:30 a.m. Events include Cookies with Santa, the Cheney Mansion Holiday Open House, Holidays Around the World and the Santa Trolley. 3. The River Forest Village Board will consider implementing a sewer repair subsidy program next month. The program would potentially offer homeowners reimbursement of 50 percent of their sewer repair costs. (Wednesday Journal)
