1. Gov. J.B. Pritzker and Sen. Tammy Duckworth were re-elected Tuesday, the Associated Press reports. Both races were called shortly after polls closed last night. U.S. Rep. Danny Davis, State Rep. Camille Lily and Sen. Don Harmon ran uncontested. At press time, Oak Park resident Fritz Kaegi was leading in the Cook County Assessor's race. Sheriff Tom Dart and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle were also leading their races at press time. Oak Park native Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz was ahead in the 17th district election. 4. A longtime Oak Parker has formed a new association for local condo boards to share knowledge, the Wednesday Journal reports. Richard Willis recently founded the Oak Park River Forest Condominium Boards Network. āAs people cycle on or off boards, you can lose their knowledge, so we want to keep the group open to boards and individual owners,ā Willis said.
