- A male juvenile was arrested after allegedly assaulting an Oak Park police officer last month. Officials say the juvenile swung his arm at an officer who approached him while walking near the 200 block of North Harvey Avenue on May 23. The juvenile was then processed at the Oak Park police station before being released to a parent. (Wednesday Journal)
- Officials with Fenwick High School say the school has officially closed on the purchase of Priory Campus. The seven-acre parcel of land was formerly owned by Dominican University and sold for $7.5 million. School officials met Tuesday, May 31, to discuss plans for how the high school will use the new property. (Wednesday Journal)
