Letter Carrier Victim Of Armed Robbery In Berwyn: Authorities

BERWYN, IL — A letter carrier was the victim of an armed robbery Wednesday in Berwyn, according to authorities.

The incident occurred around 10:45 a.m. in the 1400 block of Home Avenue, authorities said, describing the suspect vehicle as a stolen silver Toyota Highlander with the Illinois license plate CS86136. The suspects are considered armed and dangerous, according to authorities.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service announced it is offering up to $50,000 for information leading to arrest and conviction.
