1. A 26-year-old man was struck and killed by a CTA Blue Line train Sunday in Oak Park. The collision occurred outside the Oak Park station and was ruled an accident by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. (Paid source: Oak Leaves)

2. About 2,500 kids were vaccinated through Oak Park Department of Public Health elementary school clinics last week. Ten clinics were held over five days to vaccinate children ages 5-11, and 75 licensed health professionals volunteered to administer shots. (Paid source: Oak Leaves)

3. Oak View Tower residents are sharing mixed reactions after being relocated when their building was evacuated Nov. 10 for structural safety concerns. A further safety inspection is expected to take up to four weeks. (Wednesday Journal)

4. Oak Park Village President Vicki Scaman said she is an “advocate” for potential improvements to the Eisenhower Expressway, and will “lean on” Senator Don Harmon about widening Oak Park’s bridges. Though the CDC says only certain populations are eligible for COVID-19 booster shots, Cook County health officials this week said "no one seeking a booster will be turned away from a vaccination site."
