Man Shot, Killed While Waiting In Traffic Tuesday: Police
Oak Park Police said someone in an SUV pulled up next to the man's car and shot him at around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening.
OAK PARK, IL — A man was shot and killed while stopped in traffic in Oak Park Tuesday evening, police said.
Authorities said the man was sitting in his car on Harlem Avenue near Garfield Street when a dark-colored SUV pulled up next to his. Either the driver or passenger in the SUV fired multiple shots at the man and sped off, police said in a statement.
The man was pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
