Man Steals Allergy Medicine, Loses Some During Foot Chase

Oak Park police recovered three out of five stolen boxes of allergy medication after a foot chase Oct. 22 at Ridgeland and Washington.
A man took the boxes Oct. 22 from an Oak Park business in the 300 block of Madison, according to Oak Park police. He hid them in his jacket and left the business without paying.
Three of the boxes were recovered in the alley behind 360 Washington. The estimated loss is $79.98.

The man is described as 35 to 40 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a black hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, a white T-shirt, black pants and white gym shoes, police reported.
