1. A Broadview man has been charged in connection with a Forest Park hit-and-run which killed a 60-year-old man. Derrick Young faces felony charges in the death of Raul Diaz, who was struck and killed June 28 in the 2100 block of First Avenue, the Sun-Times reports. (Paid source: Sun-Times)
2. Four vehicles were reported stolen in Oak Park over the weekend, ranging in value from $18,000 to $24,000. At least seven catalytic converters were also stolen from Oct. 20-23. (OPPD)
3. More than 100 Maywood residents rallied against gun violence Sunday near the village’s statue of activist Fred Hampton. Speakers included Mayor Nathaniel Booker and U.S. Rep. Danny Davis.
