Maywood Woman Wins $1M Illinois Lottery Prize
She bought her winning scratch-off ticket at a Speedway in Downers Grove.

Maywood, IL - A Maywood woman instantly became a millionaire when she scratched an Illinois Lottery "$1,000,000 Jumbo Bucks" ticket.
Terria McGee was at home when she used a quarter to scratch the ticket, and she was shocked to discover she had won $1 million, according to the Illinois Lottery.
“I slowly checked over my ticket several times because I never, ever thought I would win a prize like this,” she said when she presented her top prize-winning ticket at the Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.

In addition to paying bills, her plans for the windfall include investing, taking her parents on a tropical vacation and buying a car.
“I am so excited to be debt free.”

An occasional Lottery player, McGee said she buys one instant ticket each month, and her largest win before this was $20.
She bought her winning "$1,000,000 Jumbo Bucks" ticket at Speedway, 898 West Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove. Speedway received a $10,000 bonus, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket, according to the Illinois lottery.
"$1,000,000 Jumbo Bucks" is a $5 instant ticket offering a top prize of $1,000,000. Of the three top prizes available, two have not yet been claimed.
