1. The Oak Park Department of Public Health will now administer COVID-19 boosters to vaccinated children between the ages of five and 11, the village announced this week. A clinic is set for tomorrow at Cheney Mansion. The CDC recommended boosters for the age group earlier this month. (VOP)
2. The Illinois primary elections are set for June 28. Major races on the ballot include nominees for U.S. Senate, Attorney General and Secretary of State. (Paid source: Tribune)
3. The search has narrowed for the next Executive Director at Oak Park Public Library. Search firm RGW Consulting has chosen six finalists from 40 applicants. More information will be announced at the next board meeting June 21. (Library)
4. River Forest trustees passed a resolution to honor former Trustee Mark Walsh, who died in 2020 after years of being “a dedicated and passionate public servant of River Forest.” The 1400 block of Keystone Avenue will now be known as Mark Walsh Way. (VRF)
