Missing Oak Park Baby Boy, Parents Found By Police, FBI

According to a Cook County Sheriff's office report, Julian's mother, Jasmin Salgado, 26, was booked​ at the sheriff's office Friday.

OAK PARK, IL — A missing Oak Park baby and his parents have been found. According to the Oak Park Police Department, one-month-old Julian Pesce and his parents, Jasmin Salgado, 26, and Jorge Pesce, 27, were located Thursday night by Oak Park police and members of the FBI. Police said Julian is healthy and in the custody of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (IDCFS) due to a court order.

According to a Cook County Sheriff's office report, Salgado was booked at the sheriff's office Friday. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday. Patch will update this piece with details on the charges she faces when information becomes available.

Julian was born on Aug. 5 at West Suburban Hospital and went missing on Sept. 2, according to police.

According to a Journal & Topics report, Salgado and Jorge were among three people arrested in April 2019 for accusations of theft at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago.
