1. Front porch package thefts continued last week in Oak Park, with at least three Oak Park police reports involving stolen items. Cosmetics, clothing, a scooter and more were stolen from residences between June 4-10. (Wednesday Journal)

2. A ruling on the Forest Park Tap Room liquor license was delayed again last week. A stenographer took issue with a newspaper reporter recording a June 8 hearing, though the Illinois Press Association said it is common practice for reporters and the village “had no grounds to end the meeting or to demand the reporter delete the recording.” (Forest Park Review)
