2. A Chicago man was arrested Friday in connection with several retail thefts at an Oak Park Target. A second individual was arrested hours later for stealing from the store at 1129 Lake Street, according to the police department. (OPPD)

3. Forest Park Tap Room’s liquor license was not renewed by Mayor Rory Hoskins after months of delayed hearings. According to the Review, the bar will be shut down after years of resident complaints regarding “customer misbehavior and loud noises, as well as violating COVID-19 mitigation guidelines.” (Forest Park Review)
