Oak Park Cyclist Dares Driver to Mess With Him, Gets Thrashed
A video captured on a GoPro camera shows the bike-versus-car road rage incident in Austin, which left the cyclist with a black eye.
Austin, Chicago, IL - An Oak Park teenager biking in Austin was attacked by the driver of a white SUV on Feb. 25, after the passing cyclist made a comment to the driver about being stopped in the bike lane.

Sodt, on his bicycle, mounted the sidewalk as the SUV sped past, then turned right and stopped in front of Sodt. Sodt can be heard in the video yelling, "I dare you to f*** with me" as he rode around the car before returning to the street.
The SUV followed him, stopped in the street, and the driver got out as Sodt said, "Yea, you want to f*** with me? Don't f***ing try to run me over, b****."

The driver charging toward Sodt is one of the last images captured on the video before the GoPro spins to the ground with a clatter.
Sodt, who is studying criminal justice at Concordia University, told the Chicago Tribune the attack left him with black eye and bike repairs that cost $90.
Police are investigating the incident, but no suspects were in custody as of March 3.
