Oak Park Police Reports: Trespass, DUI, Theft, Property Damage
Oak Park police reported crimes from Jan. 22 to 25.

The following information is from the Oak Park Police Department.
Jeremiah L. Ollison, 26 of the 100 block of N. Lockwood in Chicago, was arrested Jan. 22 and charged with criminal trespass to land in the 400 block of N. Harlem, according to Oak Park police.
John Weiser, 37 of the 2700 block of 76th Court in Elmwood Park, was arrested Jan. 22 in the 800 block of Chicago and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license, according to Oak Park police.

Jovani Rodriguez, 25 of the 2200 block of N. Lorel in Chicago, was arrested Jan. 23 in the 6000 block of North Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Oak Park police.
Julius Lumpkin, 28 of the 100 block of Midway Park in Chicago, was arrested Jan. 23 at Austin and Jackson and charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license, according to Oak Park police.

Someone used an unknown object to scratch the driver’s side of a car Jan. 23 in the 500 block of S. Kenilworth, according to Oak Park police. The estimated loss to damage was $1,000.
A 15-year-old male Chicago resident was arrested Jan. 23 after he was identified as the person who was seen in the victim’s back yard in the 800 block of Mapleton, according to Oak Park police. The juvenile was taken into custody and subsequently transferred to a guardian.
Broderick D. Cofer, 25 of the 3100 block of Bromley Lane in Aurora, was arrested Jan. 23 in the 1100 block of S. Oak Park and charged with attempted armed robbery and aggravated battery, according to Oak Park police. Police report Cofer unsuccessfully tried to take a victim’s cell phone after hitting the victim in the head with a rock.
Four male juveniles of Chicago were arrested Jan. 24 and charged with theft after police say they took an iPhone 5S with a red case in the 300 block of South Boulevard, according to Oak Park police. The boys were taken into custody in the 100 block of Madison after the victim identified them. The boys were taken to the station and released to guardians.
