One Injured in Sunday Night Oak Park Shooting
Police are investigating the shooting at Austin Boulevard and Interstate 290.

Oak Park, IL — One person was injured by shattered glass June 19 after a shooting at Austin Boulevard and Interstate 290.
Passengers in a car going south stopped at the light on Austin, got out of the car and shot at another car stopped in traffic, according to Oak Park police.
A stray bullet hit the window of a third car, and the driver sustained minor injuries from the glass.

The two cars involved in the shooting fled in different directions, police reported. The intersection and Interstate 290 ramps were closed for about three hours during the investigation at the scene.
