OPRF Teacher Wins Bronze in Wrestling Event
Octavius Bellamy, a teacher at Oak Park River Forest High School, recently earn a bronze medal in wrestling at the 2012 Veterans World Championships, being held in Budapest, Hungary.

With a name like Octavius Bellamy, you might expect a high score in a Greco-Roman wrestling event at the 2012 Veterans World Championships held in Budapest, Hungary on Sept. 20.
Bellamy, an English teacher at Oak Park River Forest High School, wrestled in four matches that day and won all but a single match.
According to the school, Bellamy competed in last year's competition as well. He didn't do as well as he would have liked last year, so he committed himself training hard over the next year, and it looks like it paid off.

Bellamy will also be competing in the Freestyle portion of the tournament this weekend on Sunday, Sept. 23.
