1. Overnight parking restrictions will be lifted this weekend in Oak Park. Restrictions will not be enforced again until 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8. (VOP)

2. The building at 156 N. Oak Park Avenue is focusing on sustainability practices to help the environment. The 28-unit brick building was originally constructed in 1903 as a YMCA. (Wednesday Journal)

3. Chicago Public Schools says unvaccinated students who travel out of state this weekend must stay out of school for seven days. Even if students get a negative COVID-19 test, the district is asking them to self-quarantine. 48 states are on the Illinois travel advisory list due to high transmission of the virus.
