Person Shot At Funeral After Family Fight Breaks Out: Police

MAYWOOD, IL — One person was shot and two were taken into custody after a family dispute during a funeral Friday in Maywood, according to police.

The service was being held at Rock of Ages Baptist Church in the 1300 block of West Madison Street when an argument broke out, police said.

As officers who responded to the scene were trying to defuse the conflict inside the church, one person pulled out a gun, according to police, who said the investigation was ongoing.
