Police Continue Search for Missing Oak Park Woman

Alicia H. Yaus may have been in Berwyn around 5 p.m. Nov. 28.

Police are still searching for Alicia H. Yaus, 48 of Oak Park, who was last seen around 3 p.m. Nov. 28 near Chicago and Harlem avenues.

Yaus, of the 500 block of Forest Avenue, is a divorced mother of three, according to the Village of Oak Park.

Her family reported her missing in the early morning of Nov. 29. Police believe she may have been seen near Harlem and 16th Street in Berwyn about two hours after the time she was last seen in Oak Park.

Yaus is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. She has a tattoo of a Japanese animation character on the back of her neck. She may be wearing prescription eyeglasses.

She was last seen wearing a black coat, a black shirt, blue jeans and Ugg shoes, according to police. She was driving a dark blue Volvo XC70 wagon with Illinois license plate A23 4609.

Police have issued an emergency missing person alert to regional law enforcement agencies, including Dupage, Will, Lake and Cook counties. They are also looking for the car using national and state databases.
