1. An off-duty Chicago police officer was injured Saturday when a Metra train hit his unmarked police vehicle at a crossing in Elmwood Park. The officer is expected to be OK after the accident near 77th and Grand. (CBS2)

2. West Suburban Medical Center is hosting a ā€œThink Pinkā€ breast cancer screening event today in River Forest. The first 40 eligible women in attendance will receive a free 3D screening mammogram. (WSMC)

3. Another Illinois legislative map was released over the weekend, which ā€œwould create an opportunity for a second Latino district in Illinois,ā€ according to the Tribune.
