Rep. Lilly Seeks Input to Help Develop Legislative Agenda
The 2016 General Assembly begins next month.

Submitted by the office of Rep. Camille Lilly.
Oak Park, IL - In an effort to develop legislation to improve the community, state Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Chicago, is asking constituents to submit any ideas for new bill proposals for the upcoming General Assembly session that begins next month.
“As I go door-to-door and call residents for their feedback, I want to ask them to create new ideas for bills that we can implement for the next year,” said Lilly. “Trying to make government as accessible as possible is always a top priority, and directly engaging the community about ways to improve our areas is so critical.”

As the 2016 General Assembly begins next month, new ideas for laws are welcome from residents throughout the district. Any and all ideas may be submitted to Lilly’s office through phone or by email.
“I look forward to hearing from the constituents across the 78th district and reviewing their creative thoughts as I prepare to head back to Springfield,” said Lilly. “When I have visited our schools and spoke to the children, I always encourage them to get civically engaged, to speak up and offer ideas about how we can improve our communities. I offer the same challenge to the rest of the district – please share with me your thoughts and let’s work together to make a difference.”
