Oak Park, IL - On Tuesday, state Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Chicago, visited the Oak Park-River Forest Community Foundation in Oak Park, a local non-profit that pursues community improvement through services and programs, to tour the facility and speak with the staff about their efforts and needs to bring more resources to the local community.
“Throughout the district, I have toured many non-profit organizations, and the Community Foundation in Oak Park is a special group that truly seeks to improve non-profit sustainability and develop their relationship with community residents,” said Lilly. “As a former executive of a chamber of commerce, connecting other organizations with their service programs to their residents is something I want to help facilitate throughout my district.”
