Residents Urged To Answer Calls From Local Health Department
Health department could be calling because you — or someone you may have had close contact with — tested positive for the coronavirus.
OAK PARK, IL — Local health officials urge anyone who receives a call from the Oak Park Public Health Department to answer the phone or return the call. According to the Oak Park Police Department, officials are stressing the importance of doing so, as public health workers could be calling because you — or someone you may have had close contact with — tested positive for the coronavirus.
Health department employees will leave a detailed message if you do not answer their call, and ask that you please check your voicemail and call back.
"Contract tracing is an important step in the fight against the coronavirus and it’s vitally important that you do your part by answering the call," officials wrote, in a Sunday Facebook message.
